ELA 9 - Today we did some language study on compound sentences. We also had a short quiz on types of sentences and subject and predicates.

PAA 9 - We worked on our hand sewing and design projects.

SOC 10 - We had our unit three test.

CND 30 - After our government test the students worked on constitution questions.

REMINDER: Food Drive Tomorrow!!!! Bring an item of food to EVERY class to ensure you get the day off school!!!!!

ELA 9 - This class was used once again to work on our myth stories. We will head to the lab to work on typing up a draft tomorrow.

PAA 9 - Some students are now working on their design projects!

SOC 10 - We watched the Oka Crisis role plays today. We also finished up our section on women's rights in Canada. Reminder: Unit Three test on Thursday, December 16th!!!

CND 30 - After finishing our video on Canadian Government, we started looking at the topic of Confederation.

ELA 9 - Students have been working hard on creating an original myth. They have to think 'outside the box' and use their imaginations :)

HLTH 9 - We are working on a Career Ed unit for the next while in Health class. Today we looked at the topic of "Possible Selves". This is an activity where we look at our future and see our hopeful selves, and our feared selves.

SOC 9 - We used this class to study for our Roman Empire Unit test which will be on Wednesday, December 15th.

SOC 10 - After spending some time looking at the topic of feminism and women's rights in Canada we viewed several videos from 1967 that discuss the progress of rights for women in Canada. We will be having our unit test on Thursday, December 16th.

CND 30 - We did a quick review on the Canadian government information we learned on Friday. We continued to watch the video we started on Friday.

ELA 9 - We are finished reading The Loki Wolf!!!! Students had a chance to work on their chapter questions, which we went through in class, and they also received a review for their test which will be later this week, perhaps Friday.

PAA 8 - The grade eights helped the drama club today by whipping up some Italian bread for Act 24 this weekend! Thanks!

SOC 9 - Today we worked on finishing up our Ancient Rome unit. We are doing a review and will have a test early next week.

SOC 10 - We worked on our Oka Crisis role play.

CND 30 - Today we did our unit three test. Culture project presentations are due tomorrow!

ELA 9 - ALMOST DONE the Loki Wolf!!!

PAA 9 - We are starting to plan out our design projects. Students must get their supplies for the projects fairly soon.

SOC 10 - Today we finished watching videos on the Oka Crisis and started to look at our role play assignment.

CND 30 - This class was used as a study period for our unit test TOMORROW!

ELA 9 - We are working very quickly at finishing The Loki Wolf. The novel will be finished early next week and a final assignment and test will be given soon.

HLTH 9 - We studied for our addiction test which will be on Thursday, Dec. 9.

SOC 9 - I showed some pictures from a previous school Europe trip to Rome to show the archtiecture and interior decorating in Roman buildings. We will soon be done this unit!

SOC 10 - Today we started watching videos on the Oka Crisis.

CND 30 - Our LAST day to work on the culture projects. These will be presented on Wednesday, Dec. 8th. Also, we will have our unit three test on Tuesday, Dec. 8.

ELA 9 - We went through the previous chapters and read chapters 21-23 which are due tomorrow.

HLTH 9 - Students received a unit review. They had a chance to go through this today and the test will be next Thursday, December 9th.

SOC 9 - We corrected Roman Creations and Buildings questions and made notes on Roman Art.

SOC 10 - We watched some CBC videos today on treaty land claims.

CND 30 - Another class was spent on our culture projects.
