Tuesday...

Welcome back after the long weekend! Hopefully it was an enjoyable time. Glad to see a Rider victory! Wahoo!

Here are some updates for today:

ELA 9 - We listened to the song "Who I Am" by Jessica Andrews and did a response based on the lyrics. This song lead us into the discussion of family and their importance to making us who we are. We also shared embarrassing moments that our family has put us through :) Some hilarious stories! We prepared, also, for reading "The Jade Peony", a short story that shares the importance of grandparents, and the experiences we have with them. REMINDER that tomorrow our partner presentations are due tomorrow. Be ready to present!

PAA 9 - After marking our small equipment handout, we started to prepare for our first handstitch we are learning: the Running Stitch. We practiced knot tying and will work on the hand stitch next class.

SOC 10 - We shared our thoughts on power and decision making and worked on questions based on the Canadian Constitution. These are due tomorrow!

CND 30 - Today's class was used for working on our dialectic essay. We have Wed. and Friday's class to finish these up; they are due Monday, Sept. 13
