ELA 9 - Students finished up their response to the three Norse Myths we read. Students also worked on language study today, practicing the use of colons and semi colons. We will wait until after the break to start our novel study: The Loki Wolf.

PAA 8 - Yesterday we baked cookies!

PAA 9- Students are working hard on their hand sewing projects.

SOC 9 - We read and made notes on the Roman Army.

SOC 10 and CND 30 - Yesterday afternoon, both Social Studies classes had a chance to take part in a presentation on residential schools from four individuals who have either attended a residential school, or had parents who did. Through videos, and sharing of personal stories, students had a chance to understand what trials and tribulations many First Nations people of Canada had to deal with in their past and how it lingers into today's generations. A very informative, and emotional presentation, that was eye opening for all.
