PAA 9 - This morning we worked on the hardest hand stitch we will cover this unit: the backstitch. After several questions, a couple knots, and a lot of patience, we all pretty much got this stitch mastered.
SOC 9 - We discussed our first unit topic: Time. We looked at the definition of time, found out ways we measure time, and why it is important. We looked at the two types of time: cyclical and linear. REMINDER THAT THE FAMILY HISTORY ASSIGNMENT IS DUE NEXT CLASS, TUESDAY, SEPT. 23!
ELA 7 - We discussed chapter one questions from 'Run' and then read chapters two and three. We worked on reader response questions to these chapters. Chapter two is DUE FOR MONDAY, SEPT, 22.
CND 30 - We corrected the questions for English-French relations in Canada. We also looked at the viewpoints dealing with First Nations-European contact, and French-English relations.
SOC 10 - All class was used to work on our minority group assignment. Monday's class will allow students to take the info they researched and create their posters.
