Ooops better later than never? I apologize for the late posting....
PAA 9 - We did some 'housekeeping' today. We worked on finishing up stitches we weren't done, organizing our portfolios, and studying for our quiz. UNIT ONE QUIZ IS ON MONDAY, SEPT 29TH.
ELA 7 - We had a double English class today. We read chapter five of 'Run' and worked on reader response for chapters four and five. THEY ARE DUE FOR NEXT CLASS. We also practiced our spelling words a bit by rewriting them in to sentences that we connected into a story. It was a fun activity and we had some very creative stories!
CND 30- Today we corrected our Louis Riel Questions. After this we looked at the Quiet Revolution, the FLQ and the October Crisis. We read some information and also watched a CBC archives video that explained these historical Canadian events. We are nearing the end of our first unit!
SOC 10 - We finished up our first unit today! We went through the assignment from yesterday and then did some notes and discussions on government. A unit one test review was handed out. We will work on this tomorrow and the TEST IS SCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY, SEPT, 30.
