Monday, Sept. 30, Day 4

PAA 9 - We started class with a test on the information we have done so far. After the test we started looking at the parts to the sewing machines. Students needed to locate the parts. They will soon have a test to see how well they know their sewing machines. We are also ordering our hand sewing products this week.

SOC 9 - We started where we left off in our last class looking at Bushfield West and the steps taken in archeology. We did a write up on the inferences and questions that were found at Bushfield. Then we did an activity where the students 'became' archaeologists. This was a mystery locker activity where the kids were given an bag will several articles in it. From there they had to use the steps in archeology to figure out what kind of students would own that locker.

ELA 7 - We started with spelling today! Because it was a Monday and we didn't have class on Friday to remind us of the spelling test, we had a bit of time to work on studying for the test. After the test we worked on the first draft of our 'Dear Terry' letter. REMINDER THAT TOMORROW WE WILL GO THROUGH THE NOUN HANDOUTS FROM LAST DAY FIVE. THEY MUST BE DONE FOR HOMEWORK IF NOT DONE.

CND 30 - We finished looking at the viewpoints dealing with Louis Riel and the FLQ. Then we went to the lab to work on our final project.

SOC 10 - We studied all class for our test. TEST IS TOMORROW, TUESDAY 30TH!!!!
