Tuesday, Setpember 16th, Day 1

PAA 9 - We corrected our sewing equipment questions at the beginning of class. We then did a crash course on how to use the iron and ironing board. We had a chance to iron some scrap material. Then we worked on our oversewing stitch. Make sure to get ALL your SEWING EQUIPMENT ASAP!

ELA 7 - We continued where we left off yesterday looking at radio and video clips on the CBC archives of Terry Fox. Our novel study books were also handed out.

CND 30 - We looked at the similarities and differences between Aboriginal and British worldview. The grade twelves then worked on a question sheet based on European-Aboriginal contact. THIS IS DUE TOMORROW (WED 17TH)

SOC 10 - Today we looked at the role of democracy by doing a role play on the Nigerian government and the conflicts it had with democracy. The students were put into separate political parties or cultures, and looked at various issues, making opinions on the topics based on their cultural group. They will meet tomorrow as the 'Nigerian government' to discuss those issues.
